President and Founder

I’m Julie and we are the Adams Family. In 2016 when visiting Franklin we heard a sermon about Fostering & Adoption and both my husband, John and I heard the call. In 2017 we moved to Franklin, NC, and became a licensed foster family. We have fostered a number of children and while the process is challenging at times, WE BELIEVE EVERY SINGLE CHILD DESERVES TO BE LOVED!!

We are thankful for the opportunity to walk along with so many like-minded friends on this journey! We have learned a lot through the years and our calling has evolved from just being a foster family to supporting the entire foster community in Macon County. We were able to make a difference on our own, but we’ve realized that Together We Can Do Great Things!

 

support and advocate macon county fostering communityTogether We Can was formed to educate, support and advocate for the Fostering Community; the children, and families and partner with the Department of Social Services. WE KNOW THAT NOT EVERYONE WAS MADE TO FOSTER, AND THAT’S TOTALLY OK! In addition to fostering, there are so many ways to get involved; our goal is to provide opportunities where everyone can use their gifts to help! Not only do we want to bring awareness to the issues foster children and the fostering community face but work together to provide assistance and solutions, one child and situation at a time. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve in this role. THANK YOU for partnering with us, your support will trickle through the lives we are fortunate to touch!
